Comfort

PERSONAL:

Dear Lord God,
I need you - more than anyone or anything else. I am weak and You are strong!
I am struggling to keep my head above water -- but You are my Rescuer. Iam desperate for You. Please wrap your loving arms around me today and save me. I want to experience Your love in a deeper and fuller way. Please send Your Holy Spirit to comfort and encourage me. Fill me with your peace that passes all understanding. Thank you, God, that you understand my troubles. Thank you that you will never abandon me. Help me to lean on your everlasting arms and find rest today. In Jesus' name, Amen

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God. For just as the sufferings of Christ flow over into our lives, so also through Christ our comfort overflows.
-2 Corinthians 1:3-5 NIV

Remember your word to your servant, for you have given me hope. My comfort in my suffering is this: Your promise preserves my life.
-Psalm 119:49-50
